The History Of Batman

Batman was a comic character which was created in the year 1939 by artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger. But the credit of creating such a marvelous comic character was only granted to Bob Kane because of his creativity on the character. Batman made his first appearance in detective comics in May 1939 and later the character became a permanent part of the well known DC comics. Batman is also known as The Dark Knight by his fans or they simply love to address him as "The Bat".

The story of batman starts with a little boy Bruce Wayne, who had to witness the assassination of his father Dr. Thomas Wayne, a well known physicist and his wife Martha. He sets out at night wearing his Bat suit and other equipment to fight crime. During his fights through crime, he comes across his ultimate enemy whose name is Joker. The joker tries to take over Gotham city several times but Batman alone blocks him from doing that and saves Gotham city. In the early 1940's Batman became so popular among comic readers that he was among the most desired comic characters among the people.

One fascinating point about the Batman is that he has the most recognizable enemies or villains that one would come across any other superhero comic book. As mentioned earlier, Joker was one of the most famous villains of all time and everyone loved the way he would trouble Batman and plan to take over Gotham city time and again. Also, male readers would get easily fascinated by reading about the gadgets and equipment used by the Batman like the Bat Mobile, Bat plane, Bat signal, transmitters, and mini grenades and so on.
